With experience in contract management and IT procurement, Kerry Sheehan brings a unique perspective to her role as a Legal Operations Paralegal to Doral. Her belief is that businesses should improve efficiency by embracing technology. Implementing platforms that simplify workflows and provide key data insights to operational performance are vital to enabling organizations to be competitive and sustain growth. Prior to her time at Doral, Kerry has spent time with companies such as Paylocity and GrubHub. Kerry was also previously a corporate paralegal for Invenergy and is excited to return to an industry actively working to accelerate the growth of renewable energy solutions. In her free time Kerry loves to run and spend time with her family in the Chicago suburbs.
Taylor has 7 years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy project execution, amounting to over 550MW of installed capacity and $800M in capital investment. His career started in the field with Blattner Energy as an on-site manager building wind projects in Texas and California. Following Blattner, Taylor spent 3.5 years with Invenergy executing on their late-stage solar developments and managing projects through construction. He received his B.A. in Environmental Geoscience from DePauw University and is currently living in Charlotte, NC.
DeAngelo has a background in Corporate Finance including Treasury, FP&A, Tax, and M&A. DeAngelo is an active member of the Houston Treasury Management Association where he is the Membership Chair. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Texas A&M University and an MBA- Finance from the University of Louisiana. During his downtime, DeAngelo enjoys traveling and watching college football. He currently lives in Houston with his wife and their dog.
With a background in Urban Planning, Whitney joined the solar field with over 15 years of experience in community and government relations, local land use planning, and permitting. Prior to Doral, Whitney held development roles at RWE and BayWa r.e, where she worked in the PJM and WECC regions, and she held a real estate role at First Solar. She also worked in the real estate field and developed charter school buildings in California for a non-profit developer. While working for a Los Angeles City elected Councilmember, she worked in the intersection of politics, policy, and entitlements, and prior to that position was an environmental consultant who wrote CEQA documents for the California environmental permitting process. She is a multi-graduate from UCLA with a BA in Geography/Environmental Studies, a MA in Latin American Studies, and a second MA in Urban Planning. Whitney loves to play tennis with her husband and 6-year-old son. But more often than not, you’ll find Whitney with her family poolside, where she often swims with a master’s swim club.
Cecil currently serves as Director of Business Development within the Energy Storage Group at Doral Renewables. He brings 10 years of extensive experience in Behind the Meter, In Front of the Meter, Demand Response, Energy Efficiency, and all aspects of energy storage systems and lifecycle development. Prior to joining Doral, Cecil led the development, planning, and management of energy storage projects throughout the U.S. as a Business Development Manager for Ormat. Cecil’s deep energy background also includes his time as a Business Development Specialist in the Energy Efficiency and Demand Management group at Consolidated Edison Company of New York (Con Edison). During Cecil’s time at Con Edison, he was a project lead in developing the Brooklyn Queens Demand Management (BQDM) and many other Non-Wires Solutions (NWS) programs. Cecil holds a B.A. in Economics from his undergraduate studies and an M.S. in Sustainability Management from Columbia University.
Andrew (Drew) has7 years of experience siting and developing high quality, high impact utility scale solar photovoltaic projects in the renewable energy sector across the U.S. Drew has 10 years of experience acquiring and developing land for large-scale public and private infrastructure projects. He possesses two professional certifications: i) North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) aii) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Nick has 17-years of global experience leading energy project development. For nine years he served as Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of EmberClear, a developer of utility scale energy projects. Before co-founding Doral Renewables LLC, Mr. Cohen managed the development of energy and desalination projects for Chicago-based Invenergy, a leading developer, owner operator of renewables. Mr. Cohen earned a BS in Business Administration from Drexel University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
Amie Ebert comes to us with a long history of working in both the manufacturing and the vertical development sides of the renewable energy industry. With Clearway Energy Group, she was responsible for overseeing the accounting for a large portfolio of utility-scale solar and wind facilities including complex partnerships and financings, M&A, financial reporting, settlements, and technical accounting. Amie also has experience in the home building, hospitality, and banking industries but has found that working in renewables and towards a cleaner energy future is her passion. Amie’s goal at Doral is to implement a set of scalable financial reporting and accounting capabilities to ensure efficient reporting to key stakeholders going forward
Amie is a born and raised Arizona native, currently residing in the Scottsdale area with her teenage son and their dogs. She has a B.S. in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Grand Canyon University and is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner. Outside of work Amie is working on becoming a licensed skydiver, being a year-round soccer mom, and enjoys traveling and reading in her downtime.
Jon first started in energy business development in 2012 with Duke Energy Renewables while enrolled at graduate school in Durham, NC, engraining in him a passion for energy and infrastructure development. Post-business-school Jon relocated to the Philadelphia area to work in development for gas provider UGI Corporation and water utility Aqua America. His latest post was at Superior Plus Propane as Director of Financial Planning & Analysis where Jon’s team was responsible for modeling all acquisition opportunities in the U.S. Jon graduated from NYU with a Finance and Accounting degree, and from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He currently lives in suburban Philadelphia with his family.
Tyrone has broad strategic and transactional experience within the renewable energy industry, having most recently served as both Head of Legal at Plus Power, and Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Invenergy. Throughout his career, Tyrone has led diverse teams of professionals in connection with the development, construction, financing and/or divestiture of dozens of utility-scale energy facilities with a total value of over $7 billion. Mr. Thomas earned a BS in Urban Studies from Hunter College and a JD from the University of Illinois College of Law.
Shawn has professional experience in the renewable market and utility sector since 2005. Prior to joining Doral Renewables, Shawn has lead interconnection activities focusing on greenfield and M&A projects for wind, solar, and energy storage. Additional responsibilities included asset optimization, technical and strategic solutions of grid integration, and the forecasting of curtailments and electrical losses. Shawn also has prior experience utilizing Power flow software for system planning and load forecasting. Previous employers include Connect Gen, NextEra Energy, CenterPoint Energy, and Northeast Utilities (now Eversource). Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Western New England University.
As a resident of south Florida, Shawn likes to spend time with his family at the beach soaking up the sun and floating in the warm ocean waters.
Ran Rabi has strong background and proven experience in dictating different scales of operations across various disciplines. In his current capacity, Ran manages technical, procedural, and administrative operations, while supporting the business development and finance team day-to-day functions. Prior to joining Doral, Ran served as the Chief of Staff at the Israeli Consulate General to the Midwest, where he oversaw the daily operations of the political, economic, cultural, and academic departments. In addition, he served as the Consulate’s government affairs liaison, working with over 100 elected officials’ offices across the Midwest. Ran also worked in different management roes in several Jewish organizations while in Israel, managing philanthropic affairs and donor relations. He holds a BA in Government and International relations from the Reichman University. Ran is a passionate sports fan and enthusiastic comics nerd.
Grady is enthusiastic about renewables and community development. He has an entrepreneurial background having started two companies in landscape design and rental management, respectively. Originally from the Chicago area (La Grange), Grady graduated from Colorado State University with a BS in Business Administration and focus in marketing and global environmental sustainability. Through Colorado State, he studied on exchange at the University of Exeter, UK and in Verona, Italy where he interned for A.C. Chievo Verona soccer club. Also passionate about educational equity, Grady does volunteer business development and math tutoring for the Chicago based Sparq Initiative. In his free time he loves to travel and take camping trips.
Cliff Williams has a combined 20 years of professional experience in the renewable energy, real estate and defense industries.
For over 10 years Cliff has been involved in the utility-scale and C&I wind and solar energy industry with Director-level, Management-level and consultant positions at US and international firms that were focused on bringing energy projects into operation in the US and Canada. During this time Cliff also served as a Board Member of GLREA (Great Lakes Renewable Energy Association), a member of the Steering Committee for the Michigan Energy Forum and a Commissioner on the Ann Arbor Energy Commission and Ann Arbor Environmental Commission.
Prior to renewable energy and real estate, Cliff was involved with lasers and electro-optics technology for over 7 years for defense, aerospace and wind energy applications including free-space laser communications, fiber-optic communications, satellite laser ranging, adaptive optics, beam control and LiDAR. This experience includes R&D, product design, business development and program management at the Naval Research Laboratory, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, Adaptive Optics Associates, and Michigan Aerospace Corporation.

Jason brings over 25 years of project management and engineering experience with over 20 years in the energy industry supporting large complex development and construction projects. Through is career, Jason has been involved in the development, construction, and operation of over 2.5 GW of energy projects through various roles at GE Power, Duke Energy, Panda Power Funds, and GridLiance-NextEra. Jason received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University and an M.B.A. from Georgia State University. He holds a license as a Professional Engineer in the state of Texas and is certified as a Project Management Professional.
Bobbi Cadena is a detail-oriented Treasury and Financial professional with a background in cash management and investments as well as hands-on experience in quantitative analysis, forecasting, budgeting and financial modeling. She has over eighteen years of experience in a financial capacity, including eight in business operations support for financial institutions and ten in corporate finance. In her previous role, she was able to build out an entire Treasury department from the ground up, which included hiring and training a team in multiple facets of corporate finance. With her strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and love of problem-solving, she is excited to bring her knowledge and skill set to the Doral team.
Bobbi was born and raised in Houston, TX. She has a finance degree from Sam Houston State University and is an active member of HTMA (Houston Treasury Management Association) and AFP (Association of Financial Professionals). She played fast-pitch competitive softball, as the pitcher, for almost 20 years and enjoys being a part of team camaraderie. Bobbi currently resides in Spring, TX with her fiancé and their two twelve-year old daughters
Ed has rich technical accounting and financial reporting experience in the renewable energy industry, including navigating complex contracts, partnerships, and financing arrangements. Most recently serving as the Senior Manager of Technical Accounting and Derivatives at Clearway Energy, Inc., he communicated technical accounting positions to stakeholders, advised on M&A transactions, wrote financial statement disclosures, and created new processes to enable the production of timely, accurate results over his seven-year tenure. Ed’s career began in public accounting, where he audited financial statements of both public and private companies. He earned a BS in Business Administration and an MS in Accounting from Northeastern University.
Ignacio has 15+ years’ experience in the global power business, having held a variety of positions ranging from Treasury, Asset Management, Power Origination and M&A. While at Tyr Energy, Inc., Ignacio was deal lead for cash and tax equity transactions, pursued Tyr’s expansion into Latin America, and was the asset manager for several gas fired assets in CAISO and PJM. Ignacio holds a Licentiate in Economics from Universidad de Córdoba (Argentina), an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of Kansas and is a CFA Charter Holder.
Thomas Hudzik has a long history in the energy industry originating from his time as an Environmental Project Manager with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) based in Washington, DC. After nearly eight years with FERC, Thomas entered the consulting world in 2015 where he successfully managed the life cycle of hundreds of energy projects (i.e., solar, wind, offshore, and oil and gas) across the United States and Canada. Through Thomas’ time as a federal regulator, coupled with his time as a consultant, he holds a unique perspective in the development, permitting, and compliance of projects. Thomas graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a BSc in Environmental Science and an MPS in Sustainable Urban Planning from the George Washington University.
Jonathan first started in the renewable energy business in 2007 with Gamesa Energy in Philadelphia. After several years of wind development in PJM he relocated to Chicago where he worked in MISO and SPP as a wind and solar developer for companies such as Acciona, EDF Renewables, and most recently Lincoln Clean Energy (Orsted). His focus has been in large wind projects with complex local community and permitting considerations and enjoys taking projects from early stage to construction. Either through direct development or M&A, he has worked on approximately 800 MW of assets now under operation. He graduated from University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Political Science and Environmental Studies and received his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He currently lives in Chicago with his wife and two daughters.
Evan has deep energy finance and transactional experience, having most recently served as VP of Finance & Head of Capital Markets at Clearway Energy, Inc. Over his 7 years at Clearway, Evan led or co-led over $20 billion of financing and M&A efforts, including work across various corporate, tax equity and project finance capital markets, and covering the solar, wind, natural gas, and district energy sectors. Mr. Speece earned a BS in Finance and Accounting from Boston College and an MBA in Energy Finance from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
Amit has over 18 years, 4GW’s, and $2.5 billion worth of experience in project management in the renewable and thermal space. His expertise lies in EPC and OEM negotiation and execution, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of power projects, including project controls, contract management, estimating, value engineering, constructability, early/mid/late-stage development and financing support. Prior to joining GEG, he worked at Invenergy as a Director of Project Management and successfully managed the execution of the projects throughout North America. He received his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from Goa Engineering College (India) and a Master of Science degree in Construction Management from Texas A&M university.
Ed Baptista has over 11 years of experience as an executive in renewable energy business development, specializing in photovoltaics, electronic generation, and battery/backup power systems. During the last 4 years, Ed has led greenfield development pipelines around 600 MW of renewable energy projects to its financial close and PPA negotiations. He is a certified Professional Photovoltaic Installer with NABCEP Associate Credentials, with emphasis in consultative sales, new product and technologies introduction, new markets business development and project management. Ed has studied Electronics Engineering and Professional PV Installer, NABCEP and energy management Blockchain Certifications.
Gil has 35 years of experience in the field of agriculture, as well as over 15 years of business management experience of Kibbutzim (collective communities) in Israel. Amongst his many endeavors, Gil has established and managed extensive and complex agricultural projects and solar projects on behalf of various Kibbutzim in Israel.
Dani has over 10 years of experience in the areas of project development and finance, including with respect to mega infrastructure projects in the fields of Energy, Water and Desalination. Prior to his current role, Dani acted as Senior Legal Counsel for Hutchison Water a member of the CK Hutchison Group, a multinational conglomerate listed on The Hong Kong Stock Exchange, where he supported Hutchison Water’s projects and ventures in the fields of Water, Desalination, Energy and Cleantech. Dani holds an LL.B. and LL.M., as well as an MBA from the Faculty of Law, at Bar-Ilan University, Israel.
Paul joined GEG in 2020, bringing ten years of experience in a ten year old storage wave. For nine years he worked to Director level positions with Viridity Energy Solutions, responsible for over a gigawatt of resources. Throughout his career, he led Viridity’s USA Demand Response & Energy Management business unit, expanding the Consumers Energy partnership to over 200 sites and 500 MW, closing Viridity’s first ever owned battery asset at the ACUA Wind Farm. He has also played a key role in expanding the PJM battery operational footprint by dozens of MW, including the SEPTA transit 10MW+ portfolio to nine sites and the 7MW+ Minster, OH project. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with minors in Physics & Economics from the University of Delaware, along with a Lerner MBA with a focus on Finance & Entrepreneurship. He also serves on the Young Professionals in Energy Philadelphia board as the development chair.
Brennan is a business development and origination leader with 15 years of energy experience with a broad network of energy and industrial contacts, deep understanding of energy markets and an expertise in energy engineering and optimization. He specializes in the development of close relationships with hard-to-reach targets within utilities and the energy industry, to further origination, project development and M&A goals of developing large and small-scale renewable projects. Brennan has a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Mitali has a deep interest in renewables and the impact it can in creating a sustainable and clean energy landscape across communities and countries. In 2016, Mitali worked at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, reviewing grant applications for cleantech research, as part of their Industry and Innovation Support team. She also has prior solar experience, working on developing community solar projects; she worked on the site acquisition team at Bluewave Solar, a Boston-based solar development company in 2017, and at CleanChoice Energy, a Washington DC-based company, working on renewable energy development and state policy and regulatory analysis. Mitali graduated from Northeastern University, with a BSc in Environmental Science and has an MA in Environmental Resource Policy from the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration at the George Washington University.
Kevin Parzyck has over 35 years of experience in the development, design, and implementation of large-scale infrastructure and building projects and over 10 years developing utility-scale renewable energy projects throughout the US. He has successfully developed over 4,500 megawatts of wind, solar and energy storage project and the associated project debt and equity financing of over $3.5 billion. He has negotiated over $700 million in Power Purchase Agreements with utilities and other associated energy off-takers as well as over $1 billion of Asset Purchase and Sale Agreements for wind energy developments.
Mr. Parzyck has experience in the areas of nuclear power plant analysis and design, high-rise and low-rise building design and construction, wireless telecommunications and renewable energy. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a Master of Engineering degree in Structural Engineering from The University of California, Berkeley, and is a licensed Structural Engineer and Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois. He has extensive experience with television, radio and print press relations and the breadth of public relations efforts associated with the development of controversial building projects.
Mr. Ytzhaki joined Doral Group over a decade ago. He oversees technology and project design globally. Mr. Ytzhaki is widely considered to be one of Israel’s top experts in the solar industry. He earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University.
In addition to being CEO of Doral Group Renewable Energy Resources Ltd., Israel, Mr. Noyman has served as a Director for Global Energy Generation since its inception. As an electrical engineer, Yaki designed Israel’s first commercial solar facility in 2007. He was on site to electrify it for the first time. Now, under his direction, hundreds of solar facilities have been electrified and the portfolio of new projects exceeds 3 gigawatts. Prior to Doral Group, Mr. Noyman was an engineer for Israel Railways. He earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University and is an MBA candidate at Bar-Ilan University.
Tim is a passionate believer that renewable energy can be a major driver in reducing our reliance on fossil fuels and has over a decade of experience working to help make that a reality. In 2007 he started in wind project development in the eastern US with Gamesa Energy, then expanded internationally as a consultant in 2012 to help bring online Panama’s first wind farm. Most recently, as a Director of International Development for Invenergy, Tim oversaw project development and M&A efforts in six countries which resulted in the construction or acquisition of 140 MWs of operating renewables projects and a gigawatt of advanced stage development assets. Tim graduated from Penn State with a BA in International Relations, has an MBA from IESE in Barcelona, and is a Fulbright Scholar.
Dori also co-founded Doral Group Ltd., Israel’s leading developer, owner operator of renewable projects. For over 30 years Mr. Davidovitz has led real estate and energy businesses in Israel and in Europe. He holds a B.S. in Economics from Tel Aviv University.
